After two seasons without losing, AFCW crashed out of the FA Trophy to Torquay United. Although it was a great learning curve, it did present Womble Underground Press with a problem regarding surplus "Undefeated" t-shirts |

In February 2008, long time serving AFCW player Frankie "Anthony" Howard decided to move sticks and head to the United States to coach soccer. Upon getting asked whether he felt comfortable in a country where inbreeding is rife in some sections and the natives speak an unintelligible accent, he pointed out that he was from Kent and therefore was used to it. |
