NOTE: Don't try any funny stuff like trolling, flooding and other such internet-related abuse.
You don't want to find out why.

As Fridays game is a live TV one. Then a walk out at about 75 minutes followed by reassembling by the main entrance calling for Koppel's head, testicles (if he has any) etc. Should make great TV.

Dr W - no probs. Had to remember your hat as it wasn't so warm later on and I know from watching a documentary on climbing K2 that it can be a lot colder when you are that high up ;-). Generally we were poor today, but a great strike from Roberts seemed to me to have a bad effect on Hughes as he kept trying to better AR's effort. Probably sees himself as out of the top 3 hotshots now given Roberts strike and the consistent exploits from Coops and Connolly! I thought Hawkins was good again today, as was Wilmott. They both looked comfortable on the ball and Wilmott won his share of headers. Brown had a poor game and cost us the goal although it was a cracking shot which gave Kelvin no chance. KC looked rusty for the second game running and didn't overlap as much as I expected him to. I pray that Kelvin's catching and the wondertip over at 1-1 has given him some much needed confidence. I'd like to see Wayne Gray given a chance as Aggy is clearly out of sorts and doesn't punch his weight for a big(gish) guy. Shipps was dire today, but we didn't really get many crosses in and he was forever receiving the ball with back to goal and even I can defend that! 3 points helps us towards mid table obscurity and despite the game being drab, it was much more exciting than the read out statement that 1000 stayed back to protest for. When will the admin at WFC realise that they really are poorly organised and Brunswick are a waste of Club resources and money?

Spending all day and all evening looking through technical drawings - Thursday, November 01, 2001 at 22:41:20 (GMT)

Wombles, Firstly, I take it that you're all coming along to the Fans United Day on Sunday 16th December v Nottm Forest. Secondly, tell ALL your mates who support other clubs about it. If you're at work when you read this, tell the person sat next to you now. We are getting in contact with other supporters clubs etc but the most important way of getting people along is 'informal' contacts. People are more likely to come if they're going with mates. So tell everyone. Invite all the people you would to a Friday night at the pub. Or everyone you see tomorrow night at the pub. Thirdly, if they are not able to come, ask them what the most popular websites/ fanzines/ supporters groups their club has. Tell them to spread the message to them. Or get them to mail us at theangrybear@hotmail.com or fansunited@wisa.org.uk with contact details. Fourthly, if you want to help organising or on the day or think there's anything you can contribute, come down to Wimbledon Community Centre at 8:30 tonight. If you can't make that, drop us a mail. Let's make this a success, people. Ricko

Dear Y & B Supporter Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for your support of Yellow & Blue since our launch at the end of August 2001. Whilst Wimbledon FC's results have been as inconsistent as ever, Yellow and Blue has gone from strength to strength, selling more than the official club programme. As regular readers of Y & B , you will know that almost every page carries the opportunity for page sponsorship , at a cost of 25 per page per programme. Some of you have been generous enough to support the Yellow & Blue venture by sponsoring a page in the early editions. You will also know that we have some regular advertisers, including Merton Council themselves. One of the intentions of Yellow & Blue has always been to make a contribution to the fighting fund of WISA - the Wimbledon Independant Supporters Association. In order to be make this contribution and support the campaign to get back to Plough Lane , further page sponsorships and advertising is needed, in each and every issue of Yellow and Blue to be published between now and the end of this season. Therefore we need to get more page sponsors - only 25 per page for a 35 character message, or advertising - from rates subject to negotiation. Please contact us no later than 10 days before each home match to get your advert or page sponsorship arranged - discounts are possible for putting sponsorship in more than one issue of Yellow and Blue. To support Yellow and Blue through advertising and / or sponsorship , please contact me on mark@yellowandblue.org or + 07092 368 081. I look forward to hearing from you shortly. Thanks again for your support. Kind Regards Mark Lewis Yellow and Blue Business Manager www.yellowandblue.org

Okay so our defending is a bit shitty. But with a midfield comprimising of Andy Roberts and Micheal Hughes I can see why the team isn't defending well. I wonder what will happen when we can add to the team Francis, Andersen, Ainsworth and Williams??? Sell Hughsey (only reason; we may get some money for him, surely Saints want him) and invest in a no nonsense defender. Wilmott in my opinion alongside Williams is a good partnership. Whoever saw Wilmott against Preston NE will admit that he can look good, indeed great. So its early days. Why we ride out these injured times the second half of the season should be a good one. A runb of ten games without defeat can take a team from mid table to top six easily. I think that the top two will be between Coventry, Palace and Wolves. Play offs will feature one from those, then 3 other places. I would be more worried if we weren't scoring goals. Its not all over. At least we are getting entertained. I even heard a Man City fan on the Radio on Tommy Doc show saying that it was almost a pleasure to lose against us as we were like an exhibition team!!!!!!! Early days boys, early days!

SA: Hear what you say and all that but the record books show, 6 goals conceeded in the last two games, only 4 points from the last 15, and within that a 4-0 drubbing by our.... well you know. Not exactly going to be the highlight of Terry's end of term report is it? Its just come to me that he came to us from The Arse, so why can't he build a decent defence. I think we should be told! None of this should deflect from the cunts that own the club, and are dragging it into the gutter.

Home at 1.41am - Wednesday, October 31, 2001 at 09:50:13 (GMT)

JC et al - gutless is not the right word for last night. We played really well for nearly all the game and could have won it even after they pulled level. The second half conditions were atrocious and favoured a team that was hell bent on attacking which is what Bradford had to do. Turning point for me was when Connolly had the ball wide right of their box and turned to face Myers. Myers just pushed DC in the chest, he fell over and Myers took the ball upfield and thebreak accounted for their second goal. Credit to us though, we didn't give up and DC had two fair chances to put the game beyond them, both of which hit the side netting. Nobody played badly, everyone ran and ran, but the defence looked as if it was worried about Kelvin. I am now as he seems to have no confidence. Bradford had three attempts on goal and scored with all of them. Kelvin needs to win a game with a display from last year if he is to get his confidence back IMO. KC played at right back and was less assured than Hawkins at left back. Wilmott and Brown won headers all night apart from the two that Tod scored from, othwerwise they were very good. Jobi was replaced with Pecker on the right after Hughes (who ran and tackled back all night) had banged into him. Glory Glory replaced Shipps and laid on the ball for DC where he rounded Walsh and had more time than he used to hit the side netting from a sharp angle. That would have made it 4-1 and game over. In summary, we were good, strong, passed well and looked as if Saturday had never happened, but Bradford deserved something from the game. One neutral I spoke to said that it was a great game and he really enjoyed it. On reflection, I can say that I did too, in the end!

Worst thing about last night was when I get back to my car and find I've lost the detachable code bar from the car radio. I put it in my pocket when I parked the car and that's the last I remember. Dashed back to the ground and searched round where I sit - block F, row 17, 107 - but couldn't find it. Stewards said it hadn't been handed in. So if someone found/stumbled across a Snickers-size dark red soft case with radio code bar in it, I'd be a might pleased. Driving 40 miles to work this morning in silence with nothing to think about but last night's game isn't funny.

First time I've managed a visit to see the reserves since relocating to Kingsmeadow. Chips aren't as good. Oh, the game? Lionel was the dogs - Juppy knocked a ball down the wing which Lionel let go and jinked inside the defender and then powered down the wing to catch it up and crossed to Knowland who unfortunately headed over. TB was watching so expect to see Lionel on bench very soon. Rob Gier made up for his defensive lapse, gifting Ipswich their first goal, with a great header to go 2-1 up. Here's a thought - WFC buys Kingstonians and we've got a ground of our own. Bung up a few extra stands to 5K. capacity and that will be fine to accommodate the hardcore supporters. Is there such a thing as a Reserves fixture list on the OS or anywhere?

Agree that Hughes is a divider, and I will also say that GA.com's hero worshipping ("he can do no wrong") is a bit too much at times....

Anyone fancy doing a writeup for the Supporters Direct on Thurs? - Tuesday, October 23, 2001 at 10:26:19 (BST)

REPD, I think it,s fairer to say that he's been on the bench now for a year and that a successive run of full games would probably do him the world of good, just ask R. Fowler. As for Hughsie thats one that will run and run until he's sold or scores the winner for us at Wembly therefore deciding his eventual place in Don's folklore. Never before have our fans been so divided. What I want to know though is do the anti Hughes brigade fail to celebrate one of his screamers as much as say if G.A were to score?

JD - yes, I will probably get to meet you. Now, where's my rifle?? ..... Kermit - now you mention it, I suppose the big chants for Hughes DO come when he's on the bench. Go figure. I said it before and I'll say it again - Wu Tang is only revered because he has a kewl nickname. He's fast becoming Andy Clarke of the 00s, the similarities are almost striking. And for some reason I always rated Hawkins, can't think why he's so unpopular with some..
REPD
Martin D - I haven't been to a fairground in over 17 years - doesn't it show???? - Monday, October 22, 2001 at 11:29:40 (BST)

There was more chanting for Hughes when he was being kept on the bench and many of us wanted him on the pitch especially with us short of creative talent. He has played well but sometimes overdoes it. However, it is great to see this confidence on the pitch. I thought that kids like Wu Tang were overpraised last year in comparison with the old stagers. Darlington is a case in point: lots of pace (Thank God!) but not a natural fullback so he joins the WFC FB abuse list along with Holloway and even poor old Kramer who was only on the pitch for a few minutes and did nothing wrong!

Keeper - he's actually been in the first team for almost a year now, and after a bit of a baptism of heat/air/flammable material he seems to have got a bit worse IMO. Maybe Hughes got the kick up the arse he needed, though even so a lot of what I would call reasonable people around me were muttering "he's trying to be too flash again". There isn't that much chanting for Hughes ATM either I've noticed. Oh, and I'm about block D r21 s57 or so..

REPD, Wu Tang shyte? Harsh I think, maybe just not the finished article. One to tuck away for the future. I think that Darlington always gives us an advantage getting an attack moving but can tend to go up dead ends. I still like him in the team though. No faulting Jobi wan Kenobi on that display. Always nice to see one coming through who you just know is going to be the Mutts. After all the recent debate on Hughsie I have to say that I feel sorry for the fella because I think his work rate (for whatever reason) has been incredible this season. Maybe time for a good ol SW19 poll to see the deffinitive public oponion. By the way REPD from the angle of your digi shots I reakon you must be about row 20 seats 50-55?? When Euell first appeared on the scene, he had a dire patch... it wasn't until he was moved back to central mf that his promise was realised. I'm certainly not going to knock Wu at this stage. I'm happy enough with Darlo as well... he gets forward really well, and has made several goals recently. Defensively not 100%, but certainly adeqate imo.

Hence the (?) after Connelly's name in the report - Sunday, October 21, 2001 at 10:16:27 (BST)

I don't think it matters who he played with - he was going round 3 or 4 defenders! He is a great option to have on the bench, and if either of the two stikers is having an off-day, a la Millwall, then bring him on. Let's wait and see, eh.
Dr Womble
it was Shipps that set up Cooper for the first - Sunday, October 21, 2001 at 10:14:10 (BST)

Dr - yes, the same Wu Tang who scored against Millwall. Gary Blissett scored against Swindon once and I don't see many banners weeping at his departure. Here's a thought explaining my current thinking about him - last season, he was with a disinterested Hartson, a past-it Gayle and an increasingly restless Euell, so therefore he did look like a bit of promise. Now, we have Connelly, and to a lesser extent Shipps and Neilsen, and as a result in comparison he looks pretty shit. In a nutshell, he's being "found out" IYSWIM. Oh, and you noticed I didn't call for Burton's head this week :)
REPD
Not blaming Holloway as much as some people - Sunday, October 21, 2001 at 10:08:16 (BST)

Is this the same Wu Tang that scored against Millwall? Fine, he was unimpressive against Palace, and quiet today, but 2 games don't ruin a season. Remember his scoring run last season?
Dr Womble
Wu Tang crap? Burton out? Oh sod it, let's blame Holloway - Sunday, October 21, 2001 at 10:00:52 (BST)

Cho - I've definitely noticed a growing backlash against Wu Tang, ATM he looks like he isn't going to make it past this level. Darlington still has to earn his spurs - yes, he played OK yesterday but many people IMO are still basing his worshipping on how he played against Northampton pre-season. Yeah, Northampton. He may come good, though after GA.com destroyed him last year in the QPHa 5-0, I'm not so sure. Also, if you're wondering about TB's comments about Jobi ("No matter what offer we might get for him now I would recommend to the board that we stick with Joel"), there were quite a few scouts about. When Jobi got subbed late on, all the scouts left as one. Go figure.

Vlad - my reasons for my view on KD stem from the fact that if we are to ever progress as a team, we need somebody who's handling doesn't shit me up. Unlike Sully, Davis doesn't seem to have visibly improved to the point of comfortability - I wonder if the defence feel this as well? Anyway, if this is a once-off performance I will keep my steam letting-off verbalisms that I performed this weekend in check for a while. If not, well..... C - glad you liked my, erm, well you know :) Damo may well be back for the reserves at Watford this week, he may even do a KCesque comeback for the first team. Wait and see, but fuck we need somebody solid in midfield..

And yes, when I was listening to the webcase, I felt like smashing my speakers with my chair and the reason why I didn't do it was because my speakers are nice. Can't wait to see the return of Trond and Damo. It didn't sound like as if we had any Midfield players at all on Saturday other than Roberts (!). V. sad. Will things improve when I am over? Finding a cheap digital camera to buy...... - Monday, October 15, 2001 at 04:41:13 (BST)

The main problems we have are centre midfield and full back. Have to disagree with REPD about Kelvin, he is in the side on merit, have you forgotten Maine Road when he was suberb. His kicking has improved, but IIRC one poor effort led to the 1st goal. WB/KK were stretched yesterday, but that's how palarse played, CM/DF pulled off wide at pace, catching our FB's upfield and isolated far too often. Expect to see Kimble back in the side and PH deserves a run at RB. Middle of the park - the blond Yank ran the show really, AR did well, but mainly in our defensive third, Hughesie is NOT a centre midfielder- Trond would have made a big difference yesterday, but when will we see him back?

we still have a positive away GD - Sunday, October 14, 2001 at 23:32:08 (BST)

I agree with everyhting the webmaster and FL have said. We have consistently and spectacularly blown must-win games over the last four years. Yesterday was a classic case in point: our support was fantastic and we rewareded with a display of complete ineptitude in every position. I think that is my first Dons match that I have actually left early in 10 years so disgusted was I when we queued up to give them a fourth. The big question is, if Burton is such a tactical genius how did his team manage to get out-stretched by that tactical idiot Bruce. Why did Ageymang play for 60 minutes 20 yards apart form Shippereley: that must have been under TB's instruction..if it wasn't why didn't he change it? Why was Miichael hughes played initailly in central midfield-he was just out of his depth? And why is it Tb's half-time teamtalks seem to have no effect whatsoever?

On behalf of the Coke company, Los Angeles - Sunday, October 14, 2001 at 10:05:07 (BST)

FL - you're being too kind :) Seriously, WFC has a major problem ATM, it's been caused by practically a decade of being built on sand, with an appauling attitude to boot. How many "big" games have we totally fucked up in the last decade? Or more to the point, how many "big" games have we actually done ourselves justice? ATM, I'm struggling to think of any, certainly those in the last 3-4 years. Man U in the FA cup maybe? This is a club that hasn't won an evening game at designated "home" games since something like 1997. We get rid of deadweights like Gayle, Hartson, Cort and Euell and still the attitudes come to the fore once in a while. We will not get promotion, because nobody at WFC has sufficient mental nerve to get us through the tricky games. Last year, how many games did we throw away? Too many. How many games have we thrown away this season alone? Too many. Even at this early stage, I'm not too confident about playoffs now, because when the bigger occasions come, we won't ever perform in them. This cancer, this attitude, this MALAISE if you will, is far more deep rooted than even I thought. How to stop it? Fuck knows, but IMO it will take a l--o--n--g time..

Rubbing up people the wrong way on W&WW by saying that Kelvin Davis is more expendable than Heald - Sunday, October 14, 2001 at 09:44:43 (BST)

So Burton describes yesterday as " a bad da at the office", like we had a bit of bad luck, like the ref gave a bad goal, like a unluck deflection caught us out. NO! It was 4-Fucking nil. That is not bad luck that is down right poor. That is will not get promoted. The team has no bottle, the team has absolutely NO guile. It is time to stop blaming Kinnear and Hammam (not though for the mess that is our OWN ground). And start looking forward. There is NO spirt in that side, just a load of tossers earning BIG money waiting for a BIG club to come and get them (which they won't, look at Jason Euell). We are like an engine runnning with no oil, we are shredding ourselves to pieces from within. Burton should have stood there today and admitted his shame and that of the "so called" players. But at the end of the day, what have we got? A Chairman that has no idea about football. Let alone the workings of that weirdest of football animals Wimbledon Football Club. They just want to drive US away, so they can get on with MK. Why are you lot not brave enough to just sell the club, you NORWEGIAN MEGLOMANICS!!!!!!

USA - Saturday, October 13, 2001 at 22:57:02 (BST)

OK, my $0.02 from this afternoon. We were poor, no doubt about it. No player had a good game and we were pretty clueless on how to break down Palarse's massed defence. We were slow to the breakdown, passed to the opposition and were shocking in front of goal. However, the result is a little surreal as they were not much better than us, and certainly 4-0 flattered them. They were at home and played 4-5-1, got ten men behind the ball everytime we crossed the halfway line and were generally negative in their attitude. When we broke with the ball it was at 5mph with two men, when they broke it was at 50mph with four men. Result? 2 goals before halftime. Second half, their keeper was timewasting within two minutes! Third goal was a corker and bound to happen as we didn't close their man down so his only option was to shoot. Kelvin had four direct attempts to save and he managed to save none of them, but I wouldn't necessarily put the blame at his door. Shipperley shot at Clarke's legs when it would have been easier to score at 0-0. Clarke made two saves, the first from Hughes was top drawer and the second from Cooper was also a fine KD style tip over, both when it was still 2-0. On such issues do games turn. Today was a joke really and this was proved when Robinson came on for Aggy (who was dire and just doesn't look like an out and out striker to me). Jobi found it hard to beat three men every time and had little support when he succeeded. All in all it was a strange game and one I cannot see being repeated this season. But, stand firm, we will finish above Palarse this season even more surely than GA.com will not be offered a new contract (unless it's with Guns'n'Roses!).

Coincidentally, after reading where that exact quote came from below, have a look at the amount of clubs that seem to have been totally screwed by their owners. It's quite frightening - us obviously, but people like Hull, Luton, Chesterfield, Foolham, Southend and I'm sure you can find many more in similar shit. There is something seriously wrong somewhere with soccer in this country - on the week that the Prem players plan a ballot because they want a bigger share of the TV pot (no doubt driving to the ballot box in their new Bentley), Kingstonian are close to going out of business. The one thing that I'm hopeful of short-term is that this TV strike DOES take place. Why? Because it will have exactly the same effect as the baseball and ice hockey shutouts in the US - players are seen as greedy and attendances SLUMP. Once the top flight starts running short of money and friends, watch various parties attempt rescue packages, and preventative measures to stop clubs up there being asset stripped by unscrupulous owners ready to protect their investment. Sad, I know, but remember that it was the Prem's rather aloof attitude that will put them in this position. Me? You can stick the top flight up your arse..

From Soccernet.com Monday, October 8, 2001 Merton seek new home for Dons By Leo Spall Wimbledon chairman Charles Koppel was on Monday due to be shown a site Merton Council believes could solve the club's search for a home. The local authority arranged a bus tour for Koppel and Football League chief executive David Burns to a plot of land which houses a train depot and is less than a mile from their former Plough Lane stadium. The 14 hectare site is owned by Railtrack and leased to South West Trains. Both companies said there were no plans to vacate the site but there are rumours that it will shortly become surplus to requirements and be sold. Planning restrictions in the area would be unlikely to stop Wimbledon building a new stadium there and council leader Andrew Judge - who was due to be with Koppel and Burns - is thought to be hopeful it will provide a viable alternative to the club moving to Milton Keynes. Wimbledon play their football at Crystal Palace's home ground, Selhurst Park, and their chairman has long argued that staying there is not financially viable. He has looked locally for a site to build a new stadium but claimed that Milton Keynes, where planning and finance structures are in place for a spectator sports development, is the closest solution. Judge is not convinced.

I hate students religiously (Doc don't count as he is doing a worthwhile course) lazy fuckers hiding away studying Geography and Political Science (??) what the fuck do you do with that?! I'll tell you what you do, you go moaning and whining that a graduate job is only paying you 25k when you come out of uni - you unappreciative little fist fucks! Then moan about how you pay off a student loan - get a job, get a life. Yup, there is no match report up as yet. And here's why. I got into SW19 Towers at 12.30am, having endured a majorly shite train journey(s) back. Ask the CUNW how shagged I looked. In a nutshell, the 1828 from Piccadilly ended up leaving at 8pm. I and many others instead went to Crewe and picked up the train from Lime Street to Euston. Well well! Do I believe that or not? This year we have played a fair number of the fancied teams (Brum, WBA, Man City, Pompey, Burnley) and only lost once. Improved performance at WBA and Man City (compared to Fulham, Blackburn or Bolton away) and maintained results against Pompey, Brum and Burnley show a better resolve to winning the important games. With the return of KC, things should look up and we will need only to make sure that the lapses against Norwich and Sheff Wed are not repeated against Walsall, Rotherham etc etc.

Sadly for him, he's pissed off many beyond reproach. Didn't know the Canadian Womble was actually Canadian, didn't sound like a Canuck accent to me. Good meet, WISA are in good hands. We also agreed that individual members should put themselves forward for Koppel's stooges' parliament if they felt like it. Very well attended and a lot of people wanted to have their say -which was overwhelmingly anti CK/MK. Quick rundown of the WISA OGM - WISA *are* going to accept Koppout's Fan Forum (in fact, he did write to WISA separately "inviting" them), but with conditions - one of them may be Merton Council themselves joining up. Some new committee members elected, don't know who but I'd fucked off by then. Saw an SW19esque technical drawing by a stadia company on "our" PL site with the *minimum* amount of space available. It's about 18k and enough room for enabling development. And I bet there's more in the pipeline. Other than that, not a lot else really - I met Tudor and Vlad, and Tomsk was there as well : if I've missed anything else out, they'll mention it. I hope :)

They should have been three up at halftime, so we shouldn't complain. I was pleased to see Aggy get a game and he took his goal well, but where was the noise for McAnuff? C - why hasn't Koppout gone yet? Two reasons - 1) he still believes MK is very possible, despite all evidence to the contary. 2) He's likely to make oodles of wonga out of it should he somehow manage to get it. I've got no idea who's behind it, whether it's DimDim pulling the strings at this end and reporting back to Oslo, or whether it's the other way round. IMO, I reckon that it's more or less the former, but the lines of communications between SE25 and Oslo are just as bad as they were before Koppout took over. Basically, I reckon that Koppout is telling different things to different people, but isn't clever enough to get away with it...

While it's nice to have beaten a bogey time, the acid test is whether we can win a mid week home game!

SA - are you referring to the FA Cup game vs Villa where we won 1-0? With Segers saving a penalty? If so, can you remind me who the fuck scored that day..?

There's Villa's ground... - Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 15:28:39 (BST)

REPD - nice report. Trust me to have the game off when we do a 1989 smash and grab in the Midlands! Doubtless we'll pass up the opportunity to make it three wins in a row by losing to Millwall on Tuesday?

Decorating again - bah! - Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 15:06:44 (BST)

One further point to add. If WFC try and use their stoogefest to fight back over MK, I can see WISA themselves upping the ante. WISA have been less vocal themselves as of late (not a criticism as such - I have an inkling of what they're doing ATM and it's worth the relative quietness), and IMO Koppout is trying to take a bit of an advantage of this. Let's see what the OGM says..

"You're, you're my Wimbledon, I'll do anything for yoooou" etc - Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 11:39:10 (BST)

Vlad - I've had a thought on reading your post : Koppout's aim is clearly divide and conquer, although I don't think the pro-MK groundswell is actually THAT high. Some may be POed at the protests themselves, but not really relevant. One thing that does tend to happen with clubs is that many of the non-partisan fans of a club may start staying away, especially if things get nasty. This may look bad for attendances, but worse (for WFC) is that those remaining will probably be the more vocal anti-MK group and will find themselves in an even bigger majority than before. Of course, the cracks in DimDim's regime are getting more deeper and more irreparable day by day...

SW19 correction : the S Club 7 song that was sung at Crewe was in fact "You're My Number 1", complete with alternative lyrics. The editor is not an S Club 7 fan therefore cannot be held responsible for any and all inaccuracies on this score. Thank you. - Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 11:29:01 (BST)

REPD - excellent report. Oh how I wish I'd been there. From the WISA OGM news it seems like new offensives are being planned; but unlike the promotion of WW3, these will be put to the people. Perhaps the "illegal activities" in the main stand were only cooked up after "complaints" were received and old swivel eyes got some advice from his minders.

Learning to be a regular here again...... - Sunday, September 23, 2001 at 09:40:50 (BST)

Yalroight. There won't probably be a write up this evening as basically I don't feel like writing one up :) Expect one by mid-day tomorrow. Koppout's letter will also be picked apart. My inital thoughts were that old WFC returned today - there may have been a bit of aggro after the game though, can't confirm that. Oh, and I have been told I have a Brum accent from my dear old mum...

Counting the bruises. Still. - Saturday, September 22, 2001 at 21:46:45 (BST)

Nice to see us getting a couple of wins. Difficult games coming up. Brown seems to be doing well. Why isn't our buying policy taking into account of more defenders instead of umpteen left wingers etc. We may have an injury crisis, but it doesn't help that the squad it so balanced. If only I could see the goals as we get no nationwide here, since Sky lost it. My only hope is we draw Man U or Liverpool in the Cup. Some chance!

there was a small article about the rumours of rkke wanting to sell wfc in the norwegian newspaper dagbladet today. Bjrn Rune Gjelsten was quoted saying that Rkke and himself were not interested in selling wimbledon. He also said that they were 'desperately' seeking for a home for wimbledon in/around south london. That last part doesn't sound to bad, if it's true
